Roll up for lots of fun this summer

-

it’s time to get ready for the greatest show on earth at the VIDES UK summer camp.

The theme of this year’s event is the circus, and youngsters can run away with their imagination when the club comes to town next month.

Head along to the St Peter’s Parish in Glenburn and join in with stories, crafts, games and quizzes around the theme.

The club runs from 10.30pm till 3pm for children in P4-7 and from 7pm until 9.15pm for teenagers from S1-4.

The event welcomes along both newcomers and familiar faces to join the camp from Monday, August 6, until Saturday, August 11.

To launch the camp, VIDES UK are inviting young people and their families to a family social evening on Sunday, August 5 from 6pm to 8pm at St Peter’s, Braehead Road, Glenburn.

There they will get the opportunity to meet the volunteers and to sign up for this year’s camp.

All who attend will get to take part in different games and activities, enjoy a BBQ and learn more about the types of activities the children and young people will be taking part in throughout the week.

There is no charge for this event and children of all ages are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian.

Those who are unable to come along can still register on August 6 at 10.30am.

If you require further information on the project, please contact Susan Toal on 07853129917.
