Housebuilder says join the club

-

Young golfers are getting the chance to tee off at Barrhead.

Miller Homes has teamed up with Fereneze Golf Club to encourage Barrhead youngsters to take up the sport.

The housebuilder is working with the local golf club to offer a number of incentives to buyers at its Springhill Meadows development in East Renfrewshire, which is only a short five minute drive away from the picturesque golf course.

Now young Buddies can hop on a buggy and play at Fereneze Golf Club.

All Springhill Meadows residents under the age of 18 can secure a free membership to the club for one year.

The golf club is also offering those who buy at the development a discounted adult membership of £500 for the first year – more than a third off the full price.

Homeowners who don’t fancy a round on the green can still enjoy a free house membership and wine and dine in the clubhouse bar and restaurant.

Bert Holton, vice captain at Fereneze Golf club, said: “Our partnership with Miller Homes is a great opportunity to welcome the young community of Barrhead to experience and enjoy the beautiful game of golf.

“With the course being so close to Springhill Meadows, we hope to inspire the next generation of players, and look forward to welcoming new members in the coming weeks.”

As well as discounted membership, Miller Homes will also be sponsoring the 18th tee which overlooks the development, just in time for the Captain vs. Pro Ryder Cup competition which takes place on September 29.

Springhill Meadows is home to a collection of some of Miller Homes’ most popular house types including four bedroom homes with open plan kitchen and family/dining room and five bedroom properties.
