More than 1,000 people cruised along to the Erskine Classic Car Show on Saturday to rev up funds for the veterans’ charity.
American Mustangs and classic Minis were among the 200 cars on show at Intu Braehead Arena and Boardwalk.
Car-lovers were also treated to live music and entertainment, car demonstrations, guest speakers, a fun fair, face painting and much more.
Now in it’s sixth year, organisers say the charity event was a huge success.
Though they are still tallying up the final sum, it’s thought the day raised more than £5,000 for the exservicemen and women.
Organiser Danielle McLaughlin said: “Every single penny from the day goes back into the charity to cover things respite care, our on site doctors and opticians – really everything to make sure we can continue to provide that high level of care.”
Danielle added that in addition to fundraising for a worthy cause, the event provided a fun day out for hundreds of families.
She said: “The car show is really one of our biggest events of the year.
“It’s a really busy day and we try to make sure the day has something for everyone.
“I think it was the entertainment that really made it. Pulse radio hosted the day and we had performances from Matthew Gibb and MC Dance.
“It really was a great day.”
