The ON-X in Linwood was awash with colour as youngsters enjoyed a fun-filled event.

Dozens of kids gathered at the sports centre for the popular Colour Run Race

The run is a highlight of the summer activity programme offered by Renfrewshi­re Leisure.

And, as you can see from the pictures taken by our photograph­er, everyone got well and truly stuck in.

The event involves young people running around the track while volunteers throw different coloured powdered paint at them.
