Road is no rat run
What really bugs me about staying in Seedhill is the amount of people in all vehicles who use Seedhill Road as a rat run and get very annoyed if you try to park outside your home.
The worst of it all just now is that the Hawkhead Road end is closed for resurfacing but no one has changed their journey.
They now pile out of Seedhill Road onto Mill Street, even if there is no space and park on the yellow box junction, blocking the road for other users.
According to the Highway Code, this is supposed to be kept clear at all times and you can only stop in it if prevented from turning right.
And don’t forget the drivers coming from the Glasgow Road end and who drive past Paisley police station. Many of them can be just as rude and ignorant.
They should be aware that they can get a £70 fine if they are found using it illegally.
Please be a nice driver. Stacey Adam Seedhill Paisley

My thanks to Councillor Bibby for his letter to the PDE regarding the closure of Whitehaugh and West Lane Gardens Centres for disabled people.
My daughter has attended Whitehaugh for many years and is distraught at the thought of its closure

Fundingmisplaced?
I read with dismay the stories of the potential closer of the Citizens Advice Bureau in Paisley due to a shortfall of some £115,000.
It amazes me that £45 million is scheduled to be spent on the refurbishment of the museum in Paisley and a service like CAB is struggling to survive.
I’m sure the numbers visiting the museum will never justify the cost. M Wylie
