Burgh boss delighted to snap up McCallum
Johnstone Burgh boss Jamie McKim has hailed the arrival of latest signing Paul McCallum.
McKim snapped up the striker after a successful trial period with the Keanie Park side over the course of pre-season.
The former Queen’s Park youngster joined up with the Burgh squad prior to the new season and made a great impression on the management team having previously played for Giffnock SC - scoring an impressive 87 goals in three seasons at youth level.
McKim said: “I’m delighted to get Paul in. He applied himself very well this summer and brings another option in attack for us. His attitude has truly been top-notch.
“He’s very dynamic, technicallysound and shows a real attackers instinct when he’s on the ball. He is also very comfortable on either side of the pitch and behind the forward, which I’m sure will be a big asset for both ourselves and his team mates.”
