New flights mean airport jobs boost

More than 150 jobs are up for grabs at Glasgow Airport as Jet2.com and Jet2holidays launch two new destinations.

The company is set to start flying to Bourgas in Bulgaria and Izmir in Turkey and has launched its biggest-ever recruitment drive at the airport.

It is holding a jobs roadshow at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport on Wednesday, September 12 with five sessions throughout the day at 10.15am, 11.45am, 1.15pm, 2.45pm and 4.15pm.

The company said it had a bumper summer this year with its biggest ever programme of flights and holidays and will increase capacity at Glasgow Airport by more than 10 per cent for next summer.
