A 10- year- old boy was left terrified after coming face-to-face with a crook during a sinister incident in Paisley.

The youngster was confronted in the hallway of his Maxwellton Road home after going to investigate a noise at his front door at around 8pm on Wednesday night.

After fleeing the scene the creep appeared minutes later at the back door of the house and only fled when the boy’s mum, 43, said she was calling the police.
