Who funded MP’s jolly?

-

I have just read online that my MP Gavin Newlands has been in Catalonia with two other SNP MPs, visiting pro-Catalonian independence prisoners in prison.

Who is paying for this trip? Is the tax payer paying for Mr Newlands to visit Barcelona in what is clearly a party-political jolly?

How much exactly is the trip costing the Renfrewshire tax payer?

Who is paying for his meals, drinks, not to mention flights and hotels?

Can I please ask, is this a good use of a Member of Parliament’s time?

Would this time not be better spent in the constituency?

How exactly is this trip benefiting the people of Renfrewshire?

If the tax payer is paying for this, I am utterly disgusted.

How can he justify to his constituents in Renfrewshire using tax payer’s money to visit Barcelona? James Renwick Erskine

The National Autistic Society is looking for people and organisations who have done something amazing for autistic children, adults, or their families.

Perhaps it’s a teacher who has helped a child achieve something great, an autistic adult who has been campaigning tirelessly or a business that has put a lot of effort into making their workplace accessible.

If any of your readers know of a person or organisation like this, please nominate them for our Autism Professionals Awards.

We want to celebrate their achievements, so we can improve understanding of autism and inspire other people and organisations to make a difference too.
