Arguing gets you nowhere, says Oran
St Mirren manager Oran Kearney insists there was no point in risking a ban by arguing with the officials.
The Northern Irishman was clearly miffed by the two controversial calls that played their part in the Buddies going down 2-1 to Killie on Saturday.
And when asked if he had approached referee Willie Collum for an explanation, Kearney was adamant that it wouldn’t make any difference.
He said:“The two decisions are highly questionable. It has cost us.
“I haven’t spoken to the referee, what’s the point?
“All I would do is get into trouble and get everybody else into trouble.
“They aren’t going to turn round after the game and say you are right and award the goal.
“I don’t see the point in that to be honest, apart from getting myself suspended or in trouble.”
