Cup draw gives Renfrew a trip into the unknown

Renfrew face their first ever meeting with Thornton Hibs after the pair were paired together in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

The New Western Park side will meet East Region Superleagu­e opposition for the second round running, after the defeat of Fauldhouse a fortnight ago.

Colin Clark and Martin Ferry’s men will travel through to Memorial Park on November 24 with the match kicking off at 1.45pm.

Thornton Hibs are currently sitting third in the table, seven points behind leaders Lochee United and 11 points ahead of Fauldhouse.
