- HOLY TRINITY AND ST BARNABAS’ CHURCH OAKSHAW TRINITY CHURCH

Tomorrow, at our 10am Eucharist we mark the fifth week after Epiphany – the visit of the Magi to the Christ Child which denotes Jesus’ presentati­on to the Gentiles.

All people are welcome to worship with us, and if you are baptised in any denominati­on, you are most welcome to take the Communion with us as well.

Our midweek Communion service at 10.30am on Wednesday also commemorat­es the fifth week of Epiphany.

On Wednesday and Friday evenings every week of the year at 7pm, the St Vincent de Paul Society Ozanam Centre provides free hot meals, to all who show up, in our Church Hall. No registrati­on or pre-booking is required.

On Thursdays, from 10.30am till 3.30pm the StreetConn­ect Cornerston­e Paisley drop-in centre is open in our church hall. All are welcome to come in, have a warm drink and at lunch hour a light, hot meal is also served. be classes for Priesthood (men), Relief Society (women) and Primary for the children.

The service will be conducted by Dane Clark, a member of the Bishopric.

Both Young Men and Young Women organisati­ons meet on Tuesday evening at 7.30pm.

The semi-annual Paisley Stake Conference will be held the weekend of February 16 and 17 with the Saturday morning Priesthood Leadership session being held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bank Street, Irvine between 10am and noon, with the Saturday evening session from 7pm to 9pm and the Sunday General session from 11am to 1pm both being held in the Church in Glenburn Road, Paisley. The Saturday Club for ages Primary 7 and upwards meets this afternoon from 1pm to 4pm in the Lang Hall

Badminton, table tennis and other activities take place. A tuck shop will be available.

Morning worship tomorrow at 11am will be conducted by Mrs Dorothy Wallace, our student assistant.

The Tea and Crafts Group will meet on Monday at 7.30pm in the Lang Hall.

The speaker at the Friendly Hour on Tuesday, at 2pm, will be Mr Falconer Houston who will be showing a film about Paisley.

The group meets each Tuesday in the church hall. All welcome.

The February meeting of Trinity Lunch Club will be on Wednesday at 12.40pm in the Wynd Centre.

Our guest will be from HeartStart.

We have our monthly service in Rowan Gardens Sheltered Housing at 2.30pm

A crèche is available during the service.

The children of Livewires and Ignite will worship with us for the first part of the service.

Tea, coffee and juice are served after the service. March 1, at 2pm. T

here will be a preparator­y Bible Study at 11am on Friday, February 22.

The venue for the Bible Study and the service this year is Paisley Salvation Army Citadel.

On Saturday, February 23, when Father’s Song male voice choir will be in concert at St Matthew’s.

Proceeds from the events will be going to help missionary work being undertaken in Burkina Faso.

The concert begins at 7.30pm, tickets cost £5 and can be purchased on the door.
