Murals will salute Saints’ glory days

As many as six new murals could soon be on display at St Mirren after members of the St Mirren Independen­t Supporters Associatio­n (SMISA) voted for local artist Mark Worst to add some decoration to the stadium.

The murals will be funded by members who pay a monthly subscripti­on fee to SMISA – their contributi­ons recently helped to fund a new 4G pitch at the club’s Ralston training complex.

SMISA club director David Riley told the Express members have a significan­t say on how their money is spent, and that the new murals will give all supporters the chance to celebrate the club’s history.
