Ashfield ‘will be tricky’
Johnstone Burgh boss Jamie McKim expects a “different test” as his highflying side face up to Ashfield this afternoon.
Promotion-chasing Burgh make the relatively short trip to Glasgow for today’s clash looking to extend their unbeaten run to four games on the bounce.
McKim has been impressed by his side in recent weeks but he has called on them not to get complacent.
He told Express Sport: “Ashfield pose a tricky test and we will have to treat them with the respect they deserve.
“It has been a case of so far so good for us.
“There are plenty of things that we need to work on but there is plenty to be positive about.
“Another win would put us in a solid position heading into the next few weeks. It has been a very good start.”
Elsewhere, Renfrew will look to get over the disappointment of crashing out to Beith in the Sectional League Cip when they face Gartcairn at New Western Park.
Derek Carson’s Neilston are away to Kilsyth Rangers, while Arthurlie also hit the road to take on Blanytre Vics.
