Drivers warned about road closures
Motorists could be facing delays over the next few week due to a number of road closures.
They are taking place all over Renfrewshire to allow repairs to take place.
“We appreciate your patience while we carry out works to improve the roads network in Renfrewshire,”Renfrewshire Council said.
Today, there will be works in Sandielands Avenue, Erskine. This is to allow for ironwork repairs to take place.
Craigview Avenue, Johnstone, from Craigbog Avenue to Craigenfeoch Avenue will be closed today until Friday to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to take place
Thrushcraig Crescent, Paisley, from Barterholm Road to Rowan Street will be closed until Friday, also to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to take place.
The same applies to Lang Street, Paisley, from Violet Street to Ladyburn Street until Friday.
Corsebar Road, Paisley, from Craw Road to Strathdon Avenue, will be closed from Monday, September 2, to Sunday, September15, and Mains Drive, Erskine, from Mains Wood to Mains Hill, will close from the same date to Sunday, September 22, to lay a new surface.
North Barr, Erskine, from Findochty to Inverbervie, will not be open to traffic from Monday, September 2, to Friday, September 6 for resurfacing works to take place.
High Street, Paisley, from New Street to Townhead Terrace, will be closed for one day only on Sunday, September 8, to allow for ironwork repairs to take place.
Stuart Road, Bishopton, from Kingston Road to Leslie Avenue, will shut from Monday, September 9, to Friday, September 13, to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to take place.
Arkleston Road, Paisley, from Glasgow Road to Arkleston Drive, will not be open to traffic from Monday, September 9, to Tuesday, October 1, so that a new surface can be installed.
Broomlands Avenue, Erskine, from Broomlands Way to Garnieland Road, will be shut for ironworks repairs on Tuesday, September 17.
