Today, we will be taking part in Renfrewshi­re Doors Open Days from 10am to 4pm.

This year there is an animal theme for the event and this will be reflected in a number of ways throughout the day.

There will be a café, sales table and children’s quiz and also a display of vestments, an ongoing demonstrat­ion of bobbin lace making and the organ will be played at intervals with those interested given the opportunit­y to see how it works.

Children will be most welcome and we have storytelli­ng sessions at 12.30pm and 3pm.

Tomorrow, our Sung Eucharist at 10am marks the thirteenth Sunday of Pentecost.

On Wednesday, our Eucharist at 10.30am also marks the thirteenth week of Pentecost.

On Wednesday and Friday evenings every week of the year at 7pm, the St Vincent de Paul Society Ozanam Centre provides free hot meals in our hall.

On Thursdays, from 9am to 1.30pm the Streetconn­ect/Cornerston­e Paisley drop-in Centre is open in our hall. conference speaker.

The two-hour conference will start promptly at 10am.

Everyone will be made very welcome and are advised to attend early so all are seated for 9.50am. A congregati­on of 400 is expected. Both Young Men and Young Women organisati­ons meet on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm in the Church building in Glenburn Road. our minister Rev Mhairi Breingan.

The congregati­on and Sunday School will meet at 11am as usual.

After the service why not join us in continued fellowship over a cup of tea or coffee in the large hall. All are welcome.

On Tuesday, at 2pm, the Friendly Hour will meet also in the large hall when they will be entertaine­d by AGM Music Group.

Services for the twelfth Sunday after Trinity will be 11am morning service and 12.15pm Holy Communion.

At 11am the choir will sing Stanford’s setting in B-flat of the Jubilate Deo and the anthem will be O, for a closer walk by Stanford.

The abbey, gift shop and coffee shop are normally open daily Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3.30pm.

The shop has a wide variety of gifts, toys, souvenirs, jewellery and cards.

Guided Tours (the cost of the tour is £5) are available most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm, just turn up on the day and buy your tour tickets from the shop. as its theme.

It will take place tomorrow at 11am and be conducted by Rev Jack Dunion.
