Business Still time to get your ROCCO nominations in
There are now just a few days left to get your entries in for Renfrewshire’s premier business awards.
The deadline for entry to the ROCCOs, the annual business awards of Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce is 5pm on Friday.
Now in their 16th year, the ROCCOs are seen as Renfrewshire’s premier business event with a glittering sell-out ceremony at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew.
There are 17 categories covering all different types of businesses from sole traders and community groups to large corporates based in Renfrewshire.
The Paisley Daily Express is sponsoring the Renfrewshire’s Favourite Business category. The popular category will have a list of nominees, with the favourite picked by members of the public being through an online vote.
Chamber chief executive Bob Grant said: “Entries are coming in thick and fast but you still have time to gain recognition for all your hard work over the year.
“Thank you to all our category sponsors as without their support, the ROCCOs would not be possible.
“Winning a ROCCO is a great achievement – the process we follow for selecting a winner is taken very seriously.
“Across the 17 categories we have something for everyone; from a sole trader or young entrepreneur and community group, to well-established SMEs and large corporates.
“You can enter as many categories as you wish, and if you are planning to attend, please book early. The ROCCOs sell out every year well before the event.”
The awards have been sponsored again by Paisley.is, the destination brand and website for Renfrewshire.
The ROCCOs are free to enter for members based anywhere plus nonmembers based in Renfrewshire.

The awards are open for entry until Friday, September 13.
The shortlist will be announced at the end September and the winners announced at the awards ceremony on Friday, November 15 at The Normandy Hotel, hosted by comedian Fred MacAulay.
On the night, a charity raffle will support charities in Paisley including Accord Hospice.
