Mercy for woman who caused a rammy with cops after partying

- RON MOORE

A troubled woman who repeatedly sparked mayhem in Paisley has been shown mercy by a sheriff.

Natanya Feeley, 25, created such a commotion for her neighbours she was arrested by police following a boozy night’s partying.

Paisley Sheriff Court heard Feeley later threatened to attack officers called to a disturbance at house party in the town, and she was arrested again.

Procurator Fiscal Depute Laura Wilcox said: “At around 7.40am on January 29 this year the accused and her friend were returning from a party at a neighbour’s.

“Once within the close at her address, she had no keys.

“She began shouting and swearing aggressively and banging the door of a witness.

“Another witness tried to calm her down but given her aggressive behaviour police were contacted.

“During the 999 call, the commotion can clearly be heard in the background.” She was arrested by cops.

The court heard tanked- up Feeley turned on cops called out to a rammy at a party in Paisley in July this year.

The fiscal added: “Four officers attended in relation to an ongoing disturbance.

“There were several people in the flat, including the accused who was in an extremely intoxicated state.

“Officers spoke to the accused about why she had called police, but she did not divulge why she had phoned them.

“As people were leaving the locus, she referred to police saying: ‘Let me past so I can stick the head on him,’ and ‘Let me over there so I can kick his c*** in.’”

Feeley who was warned about her conduct continued to behave aggressively was again arrested.

Yesterday, Feeley, of Argyle Street in the town, pleaded guilty to charges of public disorder in Paisley when she appeared before Sheriff Colin Pettigrew.

Defence agent Jonathan Manson urged the court to show his client mercy given her “horrendous background.”

He said: “She was in care from an early age. She lost her mother. She had a child which was taken into care.

“She had a partner who was abusive to her.

“There was serious physical violence. On one occasion she had to jump from a second floor window.”

Sheriff Pettigrew concurred with the lawyer and handed Feeley, who is on a curfew, another 60 days of home detention requiring to remain indoors between 8pm and 8am.
