THUG’S VICTIM WAS SCREAMING IN TERROR DEATH THREAT BULLY SPAT IN HIS PREGNANT EX’S FACE

- CHRIS TAYLOR Jordan Fitch

A bully spat in his pregnant ex’s face before grabbing her hair and ragdolling her in the street.

Jordan Fitch, 24, left Kerri Daly screaming for help after smashing a window and attacking her outside her pal’s house.

He tried to leg it from cops – bawling: “If I get out, I’m going to f*****g kill her.”

Fitch admitted terrorising the woman during a hearing at Paisley Sheriff Court.

Prosecutor Laura Wilcox told how the victim was returning home with friend Stephanie Keenan when they saw him waiting.

She said: “They both noticed Mr Fitch, who was standing at the front entrance to the house.

“Ms Daly got out and approached him, requesting to speak with him.

“He immediately became aggressive. He was standing close to Ms Daly shouting and

swearing at her. He was calling her a ‘grass’ and a ‘slut’.

“At this point, he ran towards the front window of the property and propelled his body towards the glass.

“He struck the window with his body, causing it to smash.

“He continued his tirade of abuse at Ms Daly.

“He was asked to stop but refused to do so.

“He approached Ms Daly and kicked her to the right shin and spat towards her striking her on the face on her right cheek.

“Ms Keenan called the police. “Fitch grabbed Ms Daly by the hair using both hands and dragged her around the roadway.

“Ms Daly and Ms Kennan were both screaming for help.”

Fitch pounced after the women pulled up in Paisley’s Darkwood Crescent.

Fitch tried to flee when he saw police officers approaching but was found in a nearby garden.

Police officers cuffed him while he fumed: “If I get out, I’m going to f*****g kill her – she’s a f*****g slut.”

Fitch pled guilty to attacking the woman while she was pregnant, threatening to kill her and smashing the window.

The court heard Fitch had been drinking before flipping out around 7.30pm on August 1.

Defence lawyer Nadine Dormer admitted her client could be locked up.

She said: “In any view, this was a shocking incident.

“He accepts that in the cold light of day.

“Regardless of the background, there is no excuse.

“He’s only 24 – there’s possibly immaturity here.

“There was drink involved.

“It’s not an excuse, but it is some kind explanation for his completely outrageous behaviour.

“To use his phrase, he has ‘lost it’ in the face of an argument.”

Fitch has been banned from contacting his ex.

He has also been ordered to stay out of Darkwood Crescent.

Sheriff Colin Pettigrew called for reports and warned he could be locked up.

He said: “You can, in the common parlance, ‘lose it’.

“But the way in which you lost it cannot be justified at all.

“That I will consider a custodial sentence is not in doubt.”

Fitch, of Bankfoot Road, Paisley, has been ordered to return for sentencing on November 19.
