Here we have a spacious two-bedroom flat with wellpresented and modernised accommodation in popular Bridge of Weir.

The agents describe it as a beautifullypresented traditional ground floor flat in move-in condition in Horsewood Road.

The property has been remodelled and now offers a contemporary layout of kitchen open to a dining area, which in turn leads to the lounge.

The flat has a wealth of period features that buyers will love, including original wooden floors, ceiling cornicing and an impressive bay window in the lounge.

Traditional storm doors and a vestibule lead to a broad reception hallway with two storage cupboards and wooden flooring. The lounge features a large frontfacing bay window and a fire surround with open fire.

In the kitchen are gloss-fronted units and integral appliances including an electric cooker with hob, dishwasher and washing machine.

The kitchen connects to the lounge via an open plan dining area.

Scotland’s small building firms had a strong start to 2019.

Key results from the Federation of Master Builders State of Trade Survey for Q1 2019, which is the only quarterly assessment of the UK-wide SME construction sector, revealed that in Scotland, there was a jump of ten percentage points compared with the previous quarter.

Skills shortages eased slightly among some occupations. Bricklayers were once again the trade in most short supply with 64 per cent.

Gordon Nelson, director of FMB Scotland, said:“It’s encouraging that the Scottish construction industry is bucking the wider Brexit trend with workloads and enquires in rude health.”
