Mapping out our creativity
Creative people have enjoyed a Fun Palaces Weekend organised by the Arts Team at Renfrewshire Leisure.
Members of Erskine Arts, The Star Project Paisley and Right2Dance added their names to the Renfrewshire Creativity Map by getting involved in fun and creative activities.
They join almost 20 other local groups, organisations and individuals who have taken part in the Fun Palaces Project and pinned their involvement on the creativity map that can be viewed at www. renfrewshireleisure.com/ creative-activity-map
As well as viewing the Creativity Map, people can discover a variety of ideas and activities dreamt up by the arts team’s creative community partners for their Tiny Revolutions Renfrewshire programme.
Whatever people find on the Creativity Map that they would like to try out, they’re being urged to have a go and share what they make, by posting on social media using the #TinyRevolutionsRen or taking a photo and sending it to artsteam@ renfrewshire.gov.uk
People are also being asked to include their postcode with their photographs so their pictures can be added back into the map to build up a picture of creativity across Renfrewshire.
The Creative Activity Map for Renfrewshire is part of Fun Palaces 2020 – a free, nationwide campaign for culture at the heart of community and community at the heart of culture.
