John will be acting up this week
An actor who created his latest work while snuggled under the duvet in his bedroom in Paisley will go live on Thursday.
John Michael-Love,47, has appeared in plays and TV shows as diverse as a stage version of Still Game to a bit-part in the hit Outlander.
He revealed:“A year ago I could never have imagined performing under the duvet.
“I had my laptop and mic inside with me - and the duvet worked a treat for producing the best sound.”
Paisley Buddie John has recorded one of six connected monologues written by playwright Kenny Boyle.
An Isolated Incident explores fear and loneliness as people try and adapt to the lockdown in Scotland.
John’s four minute and 25 second contribution, called Atla, will be available on Facebook from March 4.

The backdrops to the scripts were all filmed on an iPhone and John’s was shot in snowbound countryside near Gorebridge, Midlothian, in December.
John works in finance, but also become an actor in his thirties and picked up a role as‘burly man’in the first series of Outlander.
He pulled off a stage version as Jack Jarvis in Still Game eight years ago, as well as a role in a Hamlet production.
John is originally from Paisley’s southside and has always lived in the town or Renfrew.
He came late to acting and started aged around 30 with the Trinity Theatre Company in Paisley and Renfrew before joining Strathclyde Theatre.
During lockdown, he has managed to pick up online work at corporate murder mystery events and a couple of writing projects.
He has found making An Isolated Incident interesting and thoughtprovoking and his character has some revealing lines.
An Isolated Incident has received backing from Creative Scotland.
