Busy line-up of live music acts

- Bootleg Boss are playing at The Bungalow tonight.

For many there is only one boss and that is of course Bruce Springstee­n.

Bootleg Boss play an amazing set in tribute to Bruce Frederick Joseph Springstee­n the legendary American singer, songwriter, and musician.

Bootleg Boss has an amazing bunch of musicians that emulate the famous E Street line up.

The show is true to the original, playing all the hits that portray the heartland rock written about working class American life.

There are a lot of tunes to pick from a career that has spanned five decades and Bootleg Boss pick their way through the best of them.

The seven-piece band formed in

Cambridge 2012 and features Kev Jamieson as The Boss. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are £15.

Tomorrow afternoon from 2pm till 5pm the Glasgow-based M65s will be playing cover hits from Britpop, Mod and Northern Soul. Free Entry.

Tomorrow evening Pork Pie are back in town. The popular Ska Band has been selling out venues all over the country and The Bungalow gig is no exception.

Those of you that have a ticket the chances are that you are 2-Tone, the iconic Coventry based label that was home to Ska revivalist­s like The Beat, The Selecter, Madness and The Specials. Porkpie are the real deal, from the classic ‘big’ ska band mould, with a full brass section, keys, guitars and porkpie hats to match.

On Sunday The Bungalow welcome Beat the Drum, a Runrig tribute band who are on tour and playing in Paisley for the first time.

Beat The Drum play homage to the famous Scottish Celtic Rock band and relive countless Runrig Anthems including Loch Lomond, Rocket to the Moon, Every River, Greatest Flame, Hearts of Olden Glory and more as part of the brand new Runrig Experience. Doors are at 7pm and tickets are £24. The Bungalow Introducin­g Nights continue on Thursday with The Mood and Karla Rose and The West End Trio.

Doors are 7.30pm and tickets are £5/£3 Students on the door.

Tomorrow Frankly, The Smiths are at Rocknrolla­s. The Smiths are known for front man Morrissey’s complex, literate lyrics combining themes of ordinary lives with mordant humour and Frankly, The Smiths deliver all that. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are £8.

The Cave have another full weekend for you starting tonight with Best Bad Influence at 9pm.

Tomorrow in the early slot at 6pm it is Vintage Vinyl followed by Fired Up at 9pm. Jim Keilt’s Blues Jam is on Sunday at 6pm followed by Grants After Show Party at 9pm.

Dead Flowers are playing in The Swan tomorrow at 4pm and Monday at 4pm it is Cammy Miller. Lee James is performing on Tuesday at 3pm with his Swing Show and on Thursday at 3pm he is taking you through the decades.

DMC are at Whisky Joe’s tonight at 8.30pm. Blackout will be at Kennedy’s on Sunday at 3pm. Graeme Kerr is playing at The Keg tonight from 9pm and tomorrow at 9pm it is The Loners and Ivory Saints.

Open Mic Nights this week are Dunky Hunter at The Abbey on Monday from 8.30pm; Stevie D is at 9pm on Tuesday at Gantry and on Wednesday it is The Keg’s Open Mic with Johnny Barr at 8.30pm.
