If you are not sure what to do, just say to the people who welcome you at the door, and we will be happy to answer any questions and give whatever help is desired.

Normal Covid-19 restrictio­ns are in place to ensure everyone’s safety and names are taken at the door for Track and Trace.

The Wednesday Break is a weekly meeting which provides an opportunit­y midweek to enjoy worship and fellowship. Why not come and join us at 11am?

The Banner Group Meets on Tuesday at 2pm. Please come and join us. You will make new friends and enjoy a cuppa.

The Tuesday Circle ladies group is holding its AGM at 2pm on Tuesday.

Lent Bible Study is on Wednesday at 11am and looks at ‘New World, Old Faith’.

Bible Study is also on Zoom at 7pm on a Wednesday.

Men’s Zone is on Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm. It’s open to all men.

It’s a time to get together to enjoy games and fellowship with some light refreshmen­ts thrown in - do come and join us.

Liturgy – the Order of Service - will be available to download from the SEC website.

This the fifth Sunday in Lent and our service tomorrow will be led by Liz Evans, our worship leader, at the usual time of 11am. All members, friends and visitors are welcome.

After the service, tea and coffee will be served in the large hall. \PAISLEY

This week, Christine will once again lead our worship at 11am and all will be welcome at this service.

Our car boot sale will take place on Saturday from 8am. All are welcome to come along, though face masks should be worn on entering the building.

ABBEY

Tomorrow, Lent 5, the morning service at 11am will be conducted by our minister, Rev Elspeth McKay, LLB,LLM,BD.

The choir will sing the Introit – God So Loved the World, by Stainer, Psalm 126 and the Anthem – When the Lord turned, again by Batten.

The Abbey shop and the Abbey itself are still open for only three days a week – Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays – from 10.30am until 2.30pm and all are very welcome to visit during these times or, of course, to join us at the morning service.

For those wishing private prayer or mediation, the St Mirin Chapel within the Abbey is also available on the three days when the Abbey is open.

We are preparing for the most sacred occasion in the Christian year, Easter, and we are considerin­g what the Gospels say to us about this.

On Wednesday morning, we have our midweek service, Wednesday Worship, at 10.45am.

Each day during Lent, we have a daily morning service of prayer at 10.45am, and these services are led by the minister and members of our worship team.

It wouldn’t be summer without a strawberry tea, and they certainly got into the spirit of things at Stow Brae Kirk in July 2017.

The Paisley’s church Guild held the summery event, and enjoyed a great turnout at its hall in Causeyside Street.

Tomorrow, the Activities Group meets in the hall at 7pm to play badminton and table tennis.

On Tuesday, from 11am to noon, we have our Stillness Service when Rev. Armstrong and Rev George Lind will be available.

All of our youth organisati­ons will be off for Easter and return after the Easter holidays. If anyone would like to come and join after the holidays, please visit us on Facebook or the website. All will be made most welcome.

Holy Week services will be conducted by Rev Armstrong at 7pm from Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 15.
