Restaurant hosts egg-cellent raffle fundraiser

-

Big-hearted punters at Bridge of Weir’s Coach House bar and restaurant are set for the chance to help boost charity work in Ukraine.

Parent company Buzzworks is staging an Easter raffle to help raise cash for ongoing efforts in the war-ravaged Balkan nation.

The fundraiser will be hosted in seven of the operator’s venues across west and central Scotland, and will see participants entered into a prize draw to win a giant hand-made luxury Easter egg, whilst contributing to the cause.

It is hoped that the fundraiser will boost funds to the tune of £2,500, with the family-run business pledging to donate a further 50 per cent of the total to boost The British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

Kenny Blair, managing director at Buzzworks Holdings, said:“As a business we have always been proud of the support both our team and customers show when it comes to charity, and this Easter we are keen to help where we can in supporting those who are directly affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

“The work The British Red Cross do is vital, and I am hopeful our small Easter contribution to the crisis will help provide essential supplies to the people who need it most.

“Our team are also looking forward to lending their support to those in need through a variety of challenges and activities over the coming months.”

The team at Buzzworks say further fundraising initiatives will be launched over the coming weeks.

Raffle tickets for the Easter Egg-stravaganza are priced at £1 per strip and can be bought in participating venues until Easter Sunday, when the winners will be announced.
