St Mirren talent Dylan Reid will strut his stuff for his country once again after being selected for the Scotland Under-17 squad heading for this summer’s Euros.
The teenager impressed for the Under-17’s in March as they sealed qualification for the UEFA Under-17 Championship Finals in Israel.
And yesterday coach Brian McLaughlin announced the squad heading for the tournament, with midfielder Reid keeping his place having shone as the Scots earned their place after finishing second in their Group 3 qualifying stage.
All three games were played on home soil at the Falkirk Stadium, with McLaughlin’s men showing real character to bounce back from going two goals down in their opening game against Czech Republic.
Scotland will lock horns with Portugal, Denmark and Sweden next month.
And Saints fans will be able to follow Reid’s progress, with the games broadcast on the BBC website and the iPlayer service.
