A Scottish homebuildi­ng company is celebratin­g Random Acts of

Kindness Week by donating towards Sight Scotland Veterans in Paisley.

Miller Homes will be striving to support local and recognisin­g the importance these services play in supporting their communitie­s by taking part with pay-it-forward donations across the West of Scotland.

The company’s West team visited Alison Gray, deputy centre manager at Sight Scotland Veterans, with a £200 donation to help purchase new equipment for their Hawkhead Centre which assists blind and partially sighted ex-servicemen and women.

Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said:“We wanted to share some positivity within our Paisley community, and what better way to do this than during Random Acts of Kindness

Week.

“Our Hawkhead neighbourh­ood wouldn’t be the same without this fantastic local business, and it has been a pleasure to support Sight Scotland Veterans with our pay-it-forward donation.”

Deputy centre manager, Alison Gray who was thrilled with the donationfr­omMiller Homes, added:“We can’t thank Miller Homes enough for this unexpected donation.

“Sight Scotland Veterans supports veterans living with significan­t sight loss, and our support equips people to rediscover and maintain their independen­ce and to improve their quality of life.

“We look forward to purchasing additional equipment that will help our veterans who attend the Hawkhead Centre.”
