A Scottish homebuilding company is celebrating Random Acts of
Kindness Week by donating towards Sight Scotland Veterans in Paisley.
Miller Homes will be striving to support local and recognising the importance these services play in supporting their communities by taking part with pay-it-forward donations across the West of Scotland.
The company’s West team visited Alison Gray, deputy centre manager at Sight Scotland Veterans, with a £200 donation to help purchase new equipment for their Hawkhead Centre which assists blind and partially sighted ex-servicemen and women.
Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said:“We wanted to share some positivity within our Paisley community, and what better way to do this than during Random Acts of Kindness
Week.
“Our Hawkhead neighbourhood wouldn’t be the same without this fantastic local business, and it has been a pleasure to support Sight Scotland Veterans with our pay-it-forward donation.”
Deputy centre manager, Alison Gray who was thrilled with the donationfromMiller Homes, added:“We can’t thank Miller Homes enough for this unexpected donation.
“Sight Scotland Veterans supports veterans living with significant sight loss, and our support equips people to rediscover and maintain their independence and to improve their quality of life.
“We look forward to purchasing additional equipment that will help our veterans who attend the Hawkhead Centre.”
