Owners Lola Swift, a textile designer and boutique owner (lolaswift.co.uk), lives here with her husband, Mike, a management consultant, their children, Lexy, 15, Clara Bella, 12, and Alfie, seven, plus Jessie the labradoodle Property A six-bedroom semi-detached Edwardian house in Bath

What they did Knocked through three rooms – kitchen, dining room and cloakroom – to create an open-plan living kitchen-diner, and extended to the side to add space and link the house to the garage, which doubles as a utility room
