Meet the teams behind 2016’s showcase night

The stage is being set for the district’s most glittering awards ceremony as Perthshire Chamber of Commerce counts down to the 2016 Business Star Awards sponsored by Binn Group.

Once again, a raft of professionals has been engaged to ensure the top business awards black tie dinner and presentation ceremony on Friday, November 25, is a night to remember.

Chamber chief executive Vicki Unite said it was a case of “calling in the experts” to create something worthy of the galaxy of Business Stars who would be crowned on the night.

“The Business Star Awards now has a tried and tested team of experts who deliver 100 per cent for us time and time again,” she said. “Their skills and expertise – along with the support of our key sponsors - are what make our awards dinners so special and we work really well as a unit.

“Everyone - from the staff pouring drinks to the guys working the sound and lights - has a pivotal role in the ‘show’ and they really care about the event and want it to go well. Their 2016 commitment really adds value and quality to the night and makes it a lot of fun for everyone involved behind the scenes as well.”

An audience of around 300 will dine and delight in this year’s high-profile Awards event unaware of the weeks of work put in by the preparation and delivery team.

“Most of us have worked together for years and we always try to raise the bar each time,” explained Vicki. ”Everyone brings something special to the mix and goes the extra mile to deliver a special event. It’s their professionalism that helps make this event the highlight of the local business calendar.

“It’s not only a night to recognise and reward the best businesses in the area, it’s one of the biggest business networking events in the year and also a great night out thanks to our top team.”

Bringing what promises to be another five-star event together are:
