Police in Perth drug alert

Dalreoch Farm, Amulree.

•At 3.20pm on Thursday, October 20, an elderly gentleman was the victim of a dog attack where he was bitten on his leg when he walked along East Moulin Road, Pitlochry. The dog is described as being medium to large in height, sandy in colour with a wavy coat. If anyone knows the identity of this dog they are urged to contact police on 101.

•Between midnight on Saturday, September 24, and Tuesday, November 1, an attempt was made to break into a parking meter in Barossa Place, Perth.

•Between 10pm and 11pm on Saturday, November 5, a 27-yearold male was robbed of his wallet in Ladeside, Perth. The man was walking in the area near to Sports Direct, St Catherine’s Retail Park, when he was approached by three men who engaged him in conversati­on before assaulting and snatching his wallet which contained a three-figure sum of money.

The victim required medical treatment at hospital for minor injuries. Officers are keen to speak with three men who are described as having Polish accents. One of the men is described as being around 25 years of age, wearing a black jacket with a red collar and cuffs, light blue jeans and black shoes. A second man is described as wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. There is no descriptio­n for the third male.

•Overnight on Thursday, November 3, a white Citroen van was broken into whilst parked in West Brougham Street, Stanley.

•Also overnight on Thursday, November 3, a red Volkswagen Polo was vandalised in Rannoch Road, Perth.

•Between 8pm and 8.45pm on Saturday, November 5, a terracotta pot containing a small bay tree was stolen from outside the 63 Tay Street restaurant in Perth.

•Overnight on Friday, November 4, a window was vandalised at a flat in High Street, Perth.

•Between Thursday, October 27 and Thursday, November 3, a number of greens at the North Inch Golf Course, Perth, were repeatedly vandalised with areas being dug up.

•On Tuesday, November 1 a silver Volkswagen Golf parked at McDonald Court, Perth, was vandalised.

•Between 10am and 1.30pm on Tuesday, November 8, a door lock to one of the flats within 114 Rannoch Road, Perth was vandalised.

•Between noon and 6.30pm on Monday, November 7, a red Ford Fiesta motor car was vandalised whist parked in Strathtay Road, Perth. On the same day between 2pm and 3.15pm, a blue Mitsubishi pick up was vandalised in Gowans Terrace, Perth.

•Between Sunday, October 30, and Saturday, November 5, a quantity of heating oil was siphoned and stolen from a tank outside a property in Muirhall Road, Kinfauns.

•Overnight on Sunday, November 6, a quantity of tools were stolen from an unsecured shed in Monks Walk, Errol. A white Ford Transit and a silver Toyota Hilux were seen in the area around this time. If anyone has informatio­n with regards to the stolen property or the identity of the described vehicles, please call police on 101.

•About 5.20pm on Friday, November 4, a male was bitten by a dog while walking on the pathway between Station Road and Bowton Road, Kinross. The dog owner is described as being in his late 50s, 5ft 10in tall, medium build, grey straggly hair, wearing a dark (possibly grey / brown) jacket and dark trousers, smoking a cigarette. The dog in question was a small, dark, dog with pointed ears. If anyone witnessed this incident or has informatio­n regarding the identity of the owner of the dog, call oolice on 101.

•Overnight on Thursday, November 3, a number of crimes occurred in McWilliam Place, Kinross. These included a break-in to a garage; a break-in to a shed where a quantity of gardening tools were stolen, and there was also a break-in to a to a red Nissan Micra vehicle.
