Sports enthusiast­s should check out 2016’s Perth Silent Auction.

If football is your passion, there are some incredible lots up for grabs.

Long-time supporter St Johnstone FC is back on board with match day hospitalit­y for four at McDiarmid Park.

Meanwhile, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance gets in on the act by donating two adult and two concession match tickets at a home fixture at Tannadice, home of Tayside rivals Dundee Utd, for season 2016/17.

Over the border, George Malcolm & Son Ltd has donated four match tickets for Manchester United v Crystal Palace, the last game of the English Premier League season on May 21, while GLD Group has donated four tickets to West Ham v Chelsea at the new London Stadium.

Golfers are in for a real treat with a whole host of tempting packages from courses the length and breadth of Perthshire and beyond, including: Dunkeld and Birnam, King James VI, Blairgowri­e, Gleneagles, Drumoig Golf Hotel, Crieff, Archerfiel­d, Noah’s Ark, Murrayshal­l, Kingsbarn, Kirriemuir and Pitlochry.

Keen fishers haven’t been left out either. Among some extremely attractive lots are: a day’s fly fishing for two on beautiful Benachally Loch, and a presentati­on box containing 50 hand-tied contempora­ry trout lures.

Other superb lots have been donated for Lake of Menteith Fishery, Orchill Loch Trout Fishery and Bertha Loch.

If health and fitness is your thing, then you might want to bid for a 12-month adult fitness membership courtesy of stalwart Silent Auction supporters Live Active Leisure, or check out other enticing lots aimed at the fitness enthusiast from Dunkeld House Hotel (one-month membership of its Health Club), Accentto, Best Western Queen’s Hotel and Leisure Club, and personal trainer Hazel Ritchie.

Inspired by world number one Andy Murray? Perth Tennis Club has donated a full adult membership, while Highland Spring Group has donated two Centre Court tickets to the Aegon Championsh­ips at the world renowned Queen’s Club in London in June.

This year Perth Silent Auction is once again raising money for the Cornhill Macmillan Centre at Perth Royal Infirmary and a host of smaller charities in Perth and beyond.

The Big County’s favourite fundraiser is a joint effort between the Rotary Club of Perth and the Perthshire Advertiser.

This year’s Silent Auction finishes on Saturday, December 3.
