The shop, located at the popular Comrie Croft Bike Trails, have a full range of kids bikes for Strathearn youngsters to get to grips with.

Kids can go along anytime on Saturdays and Sundays in the run-up to Christmas and try various brands, styles and sizes, to see which bike best suits their size and riding style.

Shop manager Colin Mcphail explained:“We wanted to do something to help get kids active in the local area.

“Cycling is such a fun, practical, form of exercise. We hope that getting kids to sit on bikes and see how enjoyable riding them can be, in a trail setting, will help to increase participation in this wonderful sport.”

Colin added:“We have been working hard to build a good local bike shop, which serves the needs of the local population, without the need to travel to Perth or Stirling.

“We have bikes to suit most budgets, for adults and kids alike, we would encourage anyone looking for a bike to come along.”

Children wanting to get into the sport are encouraged to contact the Strathearn Mountain Biking Club, which holds regular Sunday morning sessions at Comrie Croft.
