County firms are best in business

-

Nail Diamond’s Necole Stewart, Stacey Anderson, Shara Masood and Emma Quigley A raft of Perthshire companies gained glory and recognition at the Perth and Kinross Business Awards.

Having been nominated by the public back in August, finalists met up at the Huntingtower Hotel on Sunday, November 27.

Four Perthshire companies repeated their wins from last year and 22 new winners were spotlighted.

Among them were Coco Blush, which won best Perth city business; Dolly’s Beauty Salon in Inchture was winner of best Perthshire business; Perth’s Nail Diamond won the best nail salon accolade; Ivory Whites in Perth took the prize for the best bridal boutique; T’Go were winners of best craft or creative business; and Perth’s Club 300 was awarded best health and wellbeing business.

Each had received a public nomination, a mass of votes, passed a mystery shopper test and received positive feedback from customers.

The competition is one of the few in the UK which actually visits business premises before any decisions are taken.

Gary Paterson of T’Go Creative in Auld Bond Road said:“This award is a fantastic way to end the best 12 months for the business and is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of the creative team members.”

Nail Diamond’s Stacey Anderson said:“We are all thrilled to be recognised for another industry award and for me, personally, to win it on behalf of a team is just a dream.”

The regional winners will all go on to compete in next year’s national final in Glasgow.
