Two sheep were stolen from a field adjacent to Craigton House, Cleish between Friday 18 and Monday, November 21.

A blue Ford Connect van had two tyres damaged when it was parked in Noble Avenue, Invergowrie on Wednesday, November 23.

A robbery occurred at the Bank of Scotland, High Street, Dunkeld about 11.25am on Tuesday, November 29, when a male entered the premises and demanded money from the staff.

The suspect is described as white, about 5’9” tall with a stocky build.

He was wearing a dark hooded top with a red motif on the chest and blue jeans.

Police are appealing for a witness that may have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Also on Wednesday 23rd November a Perth-based business was targeted by an online fraudster and £20,000 was obtained.

The fraudster sent an email, purporting to be from a director of the company, to a member of finance staff instructing them to deposit money in a specific account.

Once this had happened they attempted to get further funds transferred.

However, the member of staff became suspicious and contacted the director about the email request only to find that it was fraudulent.

This type of scam is known as phishing and I urge Perth and Kinross residents not to transfer money based on an email without first checking that everything is genuine before money is transferred.

On Wednesday, November 23 a male passed two counterfeit Bank of England £50 notes at two separate shops in Perth city centre.

I would like to remind retailers to be extra vigilant when receiving £50 notes in payment for goods, particularly when the goods purchased are of low value.
