On Saturday the 2016 Perth Panto ‘Dick McWhittington’ opened at Perth Concert Hall, ushering in the festive season tradition of Christmas family entertainment with plenty of bangs, clangs and confetti.
As shops close and bridges are toppling, there’s got to be hope for Perth. Senga McScruff (Barrie Hunter) and Sandy McScruff (Harry Ward) worry that their tasty treat business is starting to look rocky.
The pair get some help from fame-seeking Dick himself (John Winchester) and a crusade to
Barrie Hunter as Senga McScruff save the candy begins as Queen Rat and her wicked plan is exposed on the high seas.
Look out for the essential cat, the Fairy Maid of Perth, Stanley Mills and his daughter Melody.
