It was confirmed Brian Hunter was traced safe and well after being reported missing last Thursday.

It was feared that Mr Hunter may have been caught up in the snowfall which hit the A9 - where Mr Hunter was thought to have been headed.

But on Friday afternoon it was confirmed he was safe.

Police are still continuing inquiries to trace missing Perthshire pastor Peter Edwards.

The US clergyman (65) was reported missing from his Scone home after last being seen on Tuesday, November 1.

CCTV spotted him getting off a bus in Stonehaven later the same day.

Prayers have been said at Perth Christian Fellowship for his safe return.
