Four Scottish awards for hotel
A Highland Perthshire hotel came first in four categories at the prestigious 2017 Scottish Hotel Awards.
East Haugh House, the luxury country establishment in Pitlochry, was named Small Country Hotel of the Year, Country Sports Hotel of theYear and Informal Restaurant Hotel of the Year for the Central and Fife region.
And the hotel’s front of house assistant,Veronika Briatkova, also took home an award for Food and Beverage Individual of theYear.
Tha family-run establishment is this year celebrating its 28th anniversary, having been bought by Neil and Lesley McGown in 1989.
The lovingly converted 17th century turreted building went from a private home into a luxury hotel, and has established itself as a hidden gem renowned for its food and exceptional customer service.

Haugh House, said they were over the moon with their victories.
