Walker rescue then TV filming

-

Difficult land access problems were overcome by SCAA when they flew to the aid of an injured walker at the John Muir Country Park, near Dunbar.

Landing close to the scene, the crew worked with Scottish Ambulance Service colleagues before airlifting the woman - injured in a fall - to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

And the crew was back in action on the west coast when they were called to airlift a patient from the island of Millport.

SCAA flew the medical emergency patient to Crosshouse Hospital at Kilmarnock.

And the crew had to find time to perform for the TV cameras when Topical Television came to film for their latest series of “Close Call” for BBC 1 which will feature an incident attended by SCAA.
