members’ needs Perth Men’s Shed is looking to evolve around its Perth’s Men’s Shed is seeking more people to swell its ranks.
It is part of a movement which is taking off in Scotland, and has been welcomed in other parts of the world.
Men’s Shed has been described as a‘youthclub’ for those over 18s who are looking for a social scene where men can be men without resorting to alcohol.
But unlike the name might suggest, the group doesn’t make sheds.
It meets in the technical department at North Inch Community Campus in Perth. It is expected it will evolve to match what the members in Perth want. That could be learning new skills, sharing your own skills or just socialising over a cup of tea, sharing experiences and stories.
The Men’s Shed can provide activities and events in a safe, nonthreatening, social environment.
It also has invited speakers on various topics monthly to present at its Saturday meetings starting at 10.30am.

The Perth Men’s Shed AGM is to be held on April 13 in Tulloch Hall at 3pm.
