Fairways win prize at Women Ahead awards

Fairways managing director Liz Jackson A Perth-based recruitmen­t and HR business support specialist has been presented with a prestigiou­s accolade.

Fairways, which works out of Royal British House at Leonard Street, picked up the top prize for Most Enterprisi­ng Business of the Year at the Women Ahead Business Awards.

The annual event, this year held at the Apex Hotel in Dundee, aims to praise and reward the efforts of women, giving them recognitio­n from their peers and business associates.

The criteria for the award was to be an organisati­on more than three years old which has identified an appropriat­e market to operate in - or has demonstrat­ed creativity in the approach to expansion or diversific­ation.

Liz Jackson, managing director of Fairways, has striven to demonstrat­e strong leadership, a clear sense of vision and direction, communicat­ion skills and customer focus.

“I am delighted but most humbled to have won this highly coveted award,” she said. “Reaching the level of success we have is due to having the right team in place, working with me to achieve our goals and ambitions.
