Fred and Bruce hop for laughs at beer fest Comedy gig is sure to be ale right on the night
Comedian Fred MacAulay will headline the Perth Beer Festival weekend line-up at Perth Comedy Night, on Friday, May 5, organisers have revealed.
The growing Perth Beer Festival festivities has decided to add a Perth Comedy Night which promises to offer a night of brilliant stand-up laughter headlined by Perthshire’s own Fred MacAulay and Bruce Fummey, Joe Heenan and Jim Smith.
Perth Comedy Night, sponsored by Tan International, will get the Perth Beer Festival weekend off to a great start bringing the best of stand-up to the heart of Perth alongside a selection of beers from local brewers, Inveralmond Brewery and the Innis and Gunn range. Bar opens 6.30pm, show starts 8.30pm.
Tickets are £20 each and available at the Perth Beer Festival website. Follow Perth Comedy Night on Facebook @PerthComedyNight. All proceeds raised from the weekend will support Perthshire Rugby.
The Perth Beer Festival itself has been running for seven years. It will be held on Saturday, May 6.
Admission to Perth Beer Festival is free during the daytime on Saturday from noon.
Tickets are required for Perth Comedy Night on Friday, May 5 and Perth Beer Festival’s ‘Big Bash’ night on the Saturday.
The festival is organised by Perthshire Rugby and is a key fundraising initiative to help the club deliver its programme to facilitate community participation in rugby and sport.
