“In this particular instance, however, we see Camelon as a team to target in our push to climb the table.
“We beat them comfortably earlier in the season and, albeit they have changed their manager since then, we hope we can take another three points against them this weekend.”
Gunnion will be urging his players to come out of the blocks quickly, adding: “The key is starting well and had we done that Saturday I’m sure we’d have won against Carnoustie.
“If we can do that and get ahead in the game we are a tough team to beat.
“We’ll be welcoming back Lee Deans and John Anderson after their suspensions last week. This will definitely provide a boost.”
The bad news for Swifts is that recent signing Mark Gordon suffered fractured ribs in the early stages of last weekend’s game with Carnoustie. He will be sidelined for the foreseeable future.
Also missing out this weekend will be Sean Fleming who has an ankle ligament problem. It’s expected to be a late team selection from manager Gunnion.
Kick-off at Camelon’s Carmuirs Park is 2.30pm and all away support would be appreciated by the club.
