A Perthshire hotel is planning to welcome dogs and their owners for a fun walk in support of Guide Dogs UK.

The emphasis is on enjoyment not endurance and after the 5K sponsored stroll round Loch Earn, everybody will head inside for refreshments.

The special‘walkies’is on Saturday, May 20 starting at 11am at the Four Seasons Hotel, St Fillans.

The event promises to be a fantastic day for all the family and their pets; who can even get dressed up in their own superhero cape.

The Four Seasons Hotel treats dogs like royalty when they come to visit, offering guests a full grooming service, dog walker/pet sitter, personalized pet listening service, a delicious canine menu and a pet butler.

The hotel’s owner, Andrew Low, is thrilled to be raising money for Guide Dogs.

He said:“This is something fun to do with our favoured companions, in a wonderful setting and for a great cause.”

The fun walk is five kilometres long and reasonably flat – perfect for beginners and the more senior canines.

The route will begin at the Four Seasons Hotel and take walkers along the old railway line, with views of the beautiful Loch Earn, before returning back to the hotel.
