Methven Castle do will help Nepal orphans

Methven Castle will be hosting a charity evening to raise money for orphaned children in Nepal on Friday, May 12.

The money raised from the evening will go toThe Little Sherpa Foundation, which works with poor and vulnerable children in Nepal whose Sherpa parents have lost their lives in climbing accidents in the Himalayas.

Many of the mountain guides lost their lives in the Nepal earthquake two years ago, leaving the children living in tents with little or no internatio­nal help.

The evening at Methven Castle’s King James IV Hall will see live music from Ross Wilson of Blue Rose Code, and a charity raffle. It will be bring your own bottle.

The gig starts at 7.30pm, and tickets cost £20, which must be bought in advance.

All the money raised on the evening will go towards The Little Sherpa Foundation.
