ANDREW PARROTT

It has been my privilege to represent Perth City Centre Ward on Perth and Kinross Council since May 2015 and the by-election caused by the retirement of Jack Coburn. It has been an honour to serve the community, working with council officials and fellow councillors to realise the SNP’s ambitious plans for our Fair City.

I graduated from Aberdeen University and had a successful 37-year career in the British Army. In addition to my duties with Perth and Kinross Council, I am also involved on a voluntary basis with Perth and Kinross Credit Union, the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and the John Muir Trust.

My time as a councillor has brought home to me the importance of maintaining a connection between the community and the council which is charged with serving their interests. If elected on May 4, I pledge to be that link for the people of Perth City Centre - always available to listen to their concerns and be their voice in Perth and Kinross Council.
