Making up for previous clash

Swifts ready to down Fauldhouse

-

Fauldhouse v Jeanfield Swifts told the Perthshire Advertiser. “I got the tactics wrong that day and we didn’t match up well enough to a competitive team.

“We gave up too much ground to Fauldhouse and they took advantage of that on the day.

“But, I’m hopeful we’ve learned from that day and subsequent performances have been much better, to the point we’re now on a six game unbeaten run.

“The goal now is to keep this run going and we have to go to a Fauldhouse and target three points to try and keep us in the hunt for safety.

“The teams around us are picking up points as well so we need to ensure we’re doing the same.” Gunnion believes that his squad are hitting form at the crunch point of the campaign.

“We have been improving all season and we always knew that would be the case,” the Swifts boss explained.

“The players have found their feet and have adapted to the pace, quality and physicality of the league and are now showing just what we’re capable of.”
