New creatives show their stuff
This year’s Perth College UHI Visual Communication and Design degree show is open to visit at 2 High Street.
The exhibition in the Civic Hall at the newlyrefurbished PKC offices is titled ‘Ellipsis’and is on today and Monday next week, from 10am-4pm.
Creative third and fourth year Bachelors of Arts Honours students have been challenging and developing their creative talent during their time at college and university in a variety of paths, from textiles to filmography and all in between.
A total of 21 students are exhibiting, six of which are completing their final fourth year. This is their opportunity to showcase their skill, share their creative narrative and tell their own design story so far.
Student Meghan Potter commented:“I’m feeling a little bit nervous, but

excited to be able to show friends and family what I’ve been doing over the past few years.”
Ross Brooks said:“I’m not sure how it’s going to go, it’s my first time exhibiting. I’m most excited to talk to the experts and get their opinions.
“I think everything is looking good,”added Emma Johnstone about the opening night yesterday.“It will be great to see everyone’s stuff coming together.”
