Good Samaritans came to my rescue

-

Dear Editor I wonder if I may use your columns to pass on some thanks?

My husband and I visited Perth on Sunday, May 7 and in the early afternoon whilst walking along Watergate I fell heavily on the road.

Two unknown young men ran to help us and one used his own mobile phone to call an ambulance.

Both waited with us and were reassuring and helpful.

An off-duty paramedic, Ms Irena Davidova came to my aid and was professional, caring and very helpful in getting me back on my feet.

I spent the remainder of the afternoon in the very busy A&E Department of Perth Royal Infirmary under the care of Dr Greenwood and Staff Nurse ‘Joyce’ and their team. The X-rays showed that I had suffered a fractured shoulder as well as various scrapes and

Shirley also said thanks to the staff of PRI, in particular Staff Nurse ‘Joyce’ bruising.

I wish to thank those unknown young men, Ms Davidova and the A&E staff for their helpfulness during what was quite a traumatic episode for me.

You are all a credit to yourselves and to the Fair City of Perth.

Thank you all for taking care of a couple of ‘oldies fae Inversneckie!’ Thank you once again folks.
