Full-on hair day raises kids’ cancer cash

-

A Perth hair salon is giving up today to helping two local children battle cancer.

Creations boss Aston Abbot has asked all four of her stylists to take walk-in hair clients at the Princes Street salon and give a minimum £10 donation to a fund for dancer Lily Douglas (9), and toddler Leva Stewart (2).

Both of the youngsters have been receiving treatment on the cancer ward at the Edinburgh Hospital for Sick Children.

“We wanted to help any way we could for these brave girls and their family so we decided to do what we do best - hair!”

“Creations will be offering blow drys, curls or hair-ups.

“The salon will be laying on some bubbly, nibbles and some home-made treats and will be a great fun day to raise lots of money.”
