Business on course for expansion
An Auchterarder business is preparing to start a national entreprenurial programme.
JML Contracts Ltd is one of only two Scottish companies selected to take part in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Programme, which offers residential workshops and webinars.
Funded by the Goldman Sachs Foundation, the programme aims to enable small UK businesses to grow and expand their market potential by giving them the opportunity to meet and work with business owners from across the country.
JML Contracts will also be given the opportunity to join the network of companies which have taken art in the programme in the past.
John Langley, director of JML Contracts, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for our business and it is already encouraging us to think differently about growth areas and how we can maximise potential.
“We do have over 25 years’ experience but taking a step back and being given the chance to discuss and learn from different types of businesses in many sectors brings a very interesting perspective.
“We were really pleased to have been given this opportunity.
“The access to leading expert advice and a network that is available through involvement with an organisation the size and credibility of Goldman Sachs brings a whole new focus for our business.”
